 About the Founder
My name is Laura Timbrook. I am
a mother of 2 beautiful girls and a wife. My inspiration came in 2007
when both my 2 year old and 6 month old daughters were diagnosed with Asthma.
From the fall to spring they were constantly on a nebulizer. Every day two to three times on the nebulizer,
and as soon as they would get better in less than week they were back on.
Extensively researching Asthma I
became aware of connection between asthma and household cleaners. I remember
reading stories of other mothers whose children went through the same issues and
once they eliminated the toxins from their homes the children got better.
These stories sent a chill up my spine, reading them was like someone stole our
story. I immediately began educating myself and removing all harmful
cleaners and products and replacing them with non toxic versions.
Since changing our house to non
toxic home, our daughters have not had
an asthma attack or been on the nebulizer since July of 2007.
Continuing
Education
Since changing the way my family
lives I have enrolled in Clayton College of Natural Health. I am currently
working on obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Holistic Nutrition. I
firmly believe that good health is not just nutrition alone but rather every
aspect of your daily life.
